Claims
"This Tea Tree Relief serum can help to make skin calming and relief with tea tree extract water 67%, centella extract 19.5% and 6 sprout extract for moisturizing and nutrition."
Ingredients
Key ingredients
Besides the key ingredients, this serum also contains some of my favourite ingredients: Niacimide (a skin whitening agent) and Sodium Hyaluronate (an ingredient that has proven moisture-binding effect).
Packaging
This serum comes in a box. On the front of the box, the claims are written. On the one side of the box there's ingredients list in both Korean and English. On the other side of the box, there's 'How to use' in English. On the back side of the box, there's a lot of text - all in Korean.
The serum itself is in a glass looking bottle but it's actually just hard plastic which makes it much more practical - especially if you're clumsy like me. The bottle contains 50 ml. product. It comes with a dropper so it's easy to control the amount of product. The dropper also avoids any waste and it's very hygeinic.
Texture and color
This serum doesn't really have a serum-y texture. It's watery - much thinner than average serum which makes it perfect for oily skin.
The color of it is light green.
Smell
I feared that this serum would have a strong herbal smell due to the ingredients list. Luckily, that's not the case. It has a very light and fresh smell. I honestly can't smell anything unless I try to smell directly from the bottle. It's scentless once it's on my skin.
How to use
"Using the dropper, gently apply an appropriate amount onto your face and let it absorb. After washing face, you can use it before using skin toner. You can use it two times a day, morning and night"
How I use it
Due to its texture, I don't use it at the serum step. It's thinner than my ampoule so I use it before my ampoule and after my essence.
I only use 3-4 drops to cover my entire face with a thin layer.
Effects
Once the serum is applied on my skin, it absorbs after a few minutes. It leaves a non-sticky and somewhat semi-matte finish/dewy glow finish.
It has a nice soothing effect on my dry and slightly sensitive skin. It moisturizes my skin a bit but not nearly as much as a serum with moisture as its only purpose.
When I use this in the morning, my skintone looks a bit more even throughout the day.
I can't tell you whether this works on acne and acne scars since I've never had a problem with that - I only get a few pimples a month. I still get that but I feel like this serum has helped with my blackheads. It doesn't remove them but I haven't gotten nearly as many since I started using this serum as I did before I started using it.
Price
This costs $15.49 (USD) on www.unique4u.net so it's affordable.

- Hygeinic packaging

- Absorbs quickly with no sticky residue
- Soothing
- Less blackheads
Cons
- Not moisturizing enough for my dry skin.
Repurchase?
I haven't used it enough to decide whether I want to repurchase it or not. I need a more moisturizing serum during the winter but this is nice during the summertime.
