Product and sample empties August 2017

Since today is the last day of August, I want to talk about empties. These are all the products I emptied in August. I will make a seperate post for sheet mask empties.

Tonymoly Magic Food Banana Sleeping Pack (sample)
This sleeping pack smells amazing - like banana candy. It's nourishing and made my skin so soft. It absorbed quickly and didn't leave any sticky residue. I will purchase full size.

Burt's Bees Lip Balm with Vitamin E and Peppermint
This moisturizes so well. It's one of the best lip balms I've ever tried. It's budget friendly and it has lasted a long time. Already repurchased this (and some backups of it).

The Face Shop Rich Hand Total Treatment
This was moisturizing but left my hand feeling greasy so I've used it as a foot cream. It moisturized my feet well but on an average footcream level. I will not repurchase.

Skinfood Black Sugar Mask
I have a love/hate relationship to this mask. I love how it exfoliates my skin and leaves it baby soft and glowing. I hate that it has a really strong smell and that it is a bit harsh on my dry and slightly sensitive skin. I will not repurchase.

Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch
I love these! They actually work! I put them on my pimples at night when my pimple looks like it's really to be popped and the next morning all the discusting stuff from my pimple is on the patch. I've  already repurchased this a bunch of times and I have several backups.

Etude House Moistfull Collagen Cream (deluxe sample)
This is my favorite cream to use in my AM routine during the winter. It's moisturizing enough for my dry skin without it being heavy. I've repurchased these deluxe samples a bunch of times because the price/ml is cheaper with the deluxe samples than the full size product. The only downside to this product is that it has a strong, perfumed smell and that the packaging is unheýigenic. Repurchased.

Goodal Honey Pack Cucumber Sleeping Pack (10 ml.)
This is soothing and hydrating. I really like it but the packaging is just too unpractical - it can't be closed. I still have four of these left and when I've used those, I will not repurchase.

Missha Procure Intensive Repairing Treatment
This made my hair so soft and shiny but it's not the best hair treatment I have tried. I will not repurchase.

Nature Republic Argan Essential Deep Care Hair Pack (sample)
Even though I have only used a couple of samples, I can honestly say that this is the best hair treatment that I've ever tried. It makes my big curly hair less frizzy and more healthy looking. It also makes my hair super soft. I've purchased full size.

Elizavecca CF-nest 97% B-jo Serum
This didn't really do anything for my skin except giving it a nice glow. It has a weird smell, I can't really explain it but I don't like it. I will not repurchase.

The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Lip & Eye Makeup Remover
This removes my makeup effectively while still being gentle. I bought a wholesale package on Roseroseshop with 10 of these and I still have a lot left. Once I've used them all, I might repurchase.

Etude House Honey Cera Eye Cream Pack (sample)
This eye cream is moisturizing without being heavy. It spreads out easily and absorbs quickly. However, the full size product comes in a jar - so unhyigenic. I have some samples left but once I've used those, I will not purchase full size.

Benton Aloe BHA Toner
This is moisturizing and calming. Even though it's an acid toner, it is suitable for everyday use because the amount of acid is so low. The ingredients list is very clean and it hasn't irritated my skin at all. If you've read my review, you'll see that I wrote that I might repurchase. I take that back. I will definitely repurchase it - it's only been empty for a day and I already miss it.

RE:CIPE Slowganic Sheet Mask Aloe

Today I want to talk about this sheet mask from the brand RE:CIPE - a brand that is still quite new to me (so far, I've only tried a couple of their sheet masks - no products yet).

What RE:CIPE says about the mask
"Slowganic Sheet Mask which is compound word of SLOW and RAWGANIC is the natural mask which is made by including the original ingredients of good quality, obtained from the nature in their natural states. It increases adhesion property to the skin with application of the high elasticity fabric sheet and it delivers effective ingredients in the most effective way."

Claims
It selected only the domestic local food which has been grown and riped with sincerity and this is the natural sheet mask which includes natural ingredients of good quality obtained from the nature. As it includes the aloe which has been riped in Geoje Island, it grants lots of moisture energy to dry skin. Therefore it helps for the moisture supply."

The packaging
The packaging is simple. On the front side, there's a picture of some aloe. On the back side there are claims in English but no ingredients list.

Noticeable ingredients
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract (moisturizing), Allantoin (anti-inflammatory, soothing), Lavender Extract (skin conditioning), Cucumber Fruit Extract (skin conditioning) and Sodium Hyaluronate (hydrating).

Full ingredients list
Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Allantoin, Betaine, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Methylparaben, Phenoxyethanol, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance.

The mask

When I opened the pouch and took out the sheet, it was difficult to unfold because of the many slits.

The sheet material was medium thick - like average sheet material.

Essence
The essence was clear and watery and there was plenty of it. The sheet started dripping as soon as I took it out of the pouch and it kept dripping while I unfolded it. When I was wearing the mask, the essence ran down my neck.
There was about a table spoon amount of essence left in the pouch.

Smell
The essence had a pleasant smell. It was like a mixture of a fresh, natural plant-smell and lotion. The smell wasn't strong or overwhelming and it was barely noticeable while the mask was on.

Fit
The fit was okay. There were so many slits so it was possible to adjust the mask for a better fit. The material felt a bit stiff so it didn't adhere well to my skin.

Time
According to the back of the pouch, you should leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes. I left it on for 25 minutes before it started to dry and let go at the edges.

While wearing the mask it had a little cooling effect.

Results
After I took off the sheet, the remaining essence absorbed after about 10 minutes. It left my skin non-sticky and my t-zone didn't look oily. My skin felt soothed and a bit hydrated.

If you look at the ingredients list, I should have had better results. I think it's because it contains too much water. Whether it's because the amount of water is too high or if this sheet mask just doesn't work for me, I am not impressed.

Would I recommend?
No. There are better aloe masks out there - like this one from Holika Holika.

Price
This retails at $2 (USD) so it's affordable.

Pros
- A bit cooling while on.
- Pleasant smell
- Soothing.

Cons
- No ingredients list in English on the pouch
- Didn't adhere well to my skin
- The results were minimal

Repurchase?
I still have two of these left but once I've used those, I will not repurchase.

RiRe Real Nature Mask Pack Pearl

Today, I want to talk about this sheet mask. I used it for the first time this morning while driving - yes, sometimes I wear sheet masks while I drive. Why not exploit the time?

The packaging
On the front of the pouch there's a picture of a pearl. On the back, there's directions and ingredients list in both Korean and English.

Noticeable ingredients
Niacinamide (whitening), Pearl Extract (antioxidant), Allantoin (soothing, anti-inflammatory), Sodium Hyaluronate (hydrating), Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (moisturizing, antioxidant), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract (moisturizing) and Panax Ginseng Root Extract (plant extract).

Full ingredients list:

As you can see, this mask contains a lot of plant extracts but if you look up the ingredients list on Cosdna, you'll see that it also contains some acne and irritant triggers.

Claims
"Pearl extract contained makes pure and elastic skin and helps to moisturize skin".

The mask

When I opened the pouch and took out the sheet, it was easy to unfold.

The sheet material was a bit thicker than average sheet material but it was still very soft.

Essence
The essence was clear and watery. The sheet didn't drip while I unfolded it and the essence didn't run down my neck while I was wearing the mask.
There was about a teaspoon amount of essence left in the pouch.

Smell
The essence had a lotion-y smell. It wasn't strong or overwhelming at all and it was barely noticeable while the mask was on.

Fit
The fit was actually really nice. The holes for the eyes and the hole for the mouth were big enough for my face. There were one slit on each cheek/chin and slits at the eyes making it possible to adjust the mask for a better fit. The sheet material didn't break easily so it was no problem adjusting the mask.
The sheet didn't adhere well to my skin. Every time the road was a little bumpy, the mask started to loosen from my face.

Time
According to the back of the pouch, you should leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes. I left it on for about 15 minutes before it started to dry.
Keep in mind that sheet masks tend to dry faster in cars due to aircondition - if I had just used it at home, I could probably have kept it on for 20 minutes or more before it had started to dry.

Results
When I took off the sheet, the remaining essence absorbed after half an hour. It left a sticky residue but that went away once I continued my skincare routine.
This mask evened out my skintone but after a few hours my red cheeks returned. It gave my skin a nice glow that lasted all day and it also moisturized my skin well.

Would I recommend?
This is a decent mask if you look at the price but there are better masks out there.

Price
This costs less than $1 so it's very budget friendly.

Pros
- Contains a lot of plant extracts
- Nice fit
- Evened out my skintone
- Moisturized my skin and gave it a beautiful glow that lasted all day
- Very cheap

Cons
- Contains some ingredients that can trigger acne
- Didn't adhere well to my skin
- Took a long time to absorb
- Sticky residue

Repurchase?
I bought three of these and once I've used the two others, I will not repurchase it.

Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Mask Lotus

Last night, I used this sheet mask for the first time. Like all the other masks from this line that I've tried, this did not disappoint. The '0.2 Therapy Air Mask' line from Etude House is one of my favourite sheet mask lines. They do as they claim, they're fragrance free and the super thin material is so comfortable.

More about this sheet mask line (from Etudehouse.com):

The packaging
Like with all the other masks from this line, there's pictures of the main ingredient on the front side. On the back of the pouch, there are directions and ingredients list in both Korean and English.
There are slits about a centimeter from the top of the packaging to make it easier to open.

Noticeable ingredients
Lotus Flower Extract (plant extract), Allantoin (anti-inflammatory, soothing), Licorice Root Extract (soothing, smoothing, anti-inflammatory), Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Green tea: moisturizing, antioxidant), Sodium Hyaluronate (hydrating) and Ceramide NP (moisturizing).

Full ingredients list and directions:

Claims
"The mask containing purifying lotus flower extract makes skin look clear and moisturized and soothes and comforts skin by relieving skin of stress".

The mask

When I opened the pouch and took out the sheet, it was difficult to unfold.

The sheet material was very thin as it always is in this line (0.2 mm.) but it didn't break easily.

Essence
The essence was clear and watery and there was plenty of it. The sheet was dripping while I unfolded it and it ran down my neck while I was wearing the mask.
There was about a table spoon amount of essence left in the pouch.

Smell
The essence had a pleasant smell. It was like a mixture of citrus and something else - I don't know what. The smell was light and natural. It wasn't too strong or overwhelming and it was barely noticeable while the mask was on.

Fit
The fit was great - as it always is with masks from this line. The holes for the eyes and the hole for the mouth were big enough. Even though there weren't any slits to adjust the mask, it had a great fit.
Once the mask was on, it adhered well to my skin and stayed in its place the whole time I was wearing it.

Time
According to the back of the pouch, you should wear the mask for 10-20 minutes. I left it on for half an hour before removing it. It was still damp when I removed it.

While wearing the mask, I had a nice cooling effect. It didn't irritate my skin or feel uncomfortable at all.

Results
When I took the sheet off, the remaining essence on my face absorbed within a few minutes. It didn't leave any sticky residue and it didn't make my t-zone look oily - my skin was left with a healthy glow. This mask was so soothing and hydrating. I had a few pimples and before I used this mask they were red and the skin around them was irritated. This mask did a great job at calming the skin around them. It was no longer red when I took the sheet off and the pimples did look smaller but I don't know if they actually got smaller or if it was just because the skin around them no longer was irritated.
It evened out my skintone well.

Due to how fast the essence absorbed without any sticky residue and due to the nice results, I think this mask would be perfect to use in the morning and not just in the evening.

Would I recommend?
Yes!

Price
This costs $1.30 (USD) on Etudehouse.com so it's inexpensive.

Pros
- Comfortable thin material
- Nice fit
- No fragrance
- Cooling effect while on
- Does what it claims to do
- Absorbed quickly with no sticky residue
- Inexpensive

Cons
I can't think of any cons.

Repurchase?
Sure.

iUNIK Rose Galactomyces Essential Toner

Today, I want to talk about this toner. I've been using it every day in my AM skincare routine and sometimes in my PM routine. I love anything with roses so I was very excited to try this and I'm happy to say, that it hasn't disappointed me!

Claims
"This toner can help to make moisturizing, rebalances and softens the sensitive skin with rosa damascena flower water 70% from the most famous roses and galactomyces ferment filtrate 10%."

 Ingredients
As you can see on the ingredients list above, all ingredients are safe which makes it perfect for all skintypes including sensitive. Also, it's filled with natural extracts.

What iUNIK says about the key ingredients

Besides the key ingredients, this toner also contains some other nice ingredients. The ones that caught my eyes are:
Sodium Hyaluronate: An ingredient that has proven moisture-binding effect.
Allantoin: This is anti-inflammatory, soothing and skin protecting.
Licorice Root Extract: This is smoothing and soothing.

Packaging

This toner comes in a 200 ml. plastic bottle. The design of the bottle is simple and elegant. On the front their claims are written. On the sides, there are directions and ingredients in both Korean and English.

When you screw of the lit of the bottle, the bottle is sealed which lets you know that the product is brand new. When you remove the foilseal, there's a little hole. The hole is so small that it's easy to control the amount of product that comes out - even without a pump.

Texture and color
This toner is clear and thin as water. The texture makes it perfect to use on cotton pads but it's still possible to use the hands too.

Smell
The smell is my favourite part of this toner! It smells so good - like roses. The smell is strong and some might find it overwhelming but I love it.

How to use
After cleansing, gently sweep over the face and neck with a cotton pad or fingertips.

How I use it
After cleansing, I apply one layer of toner with a cotton pad. When I apply more than one layer, I like to use a cotton pad to apply the first layer to remove any leftover dirt from my skin. I apply the following layers with my hands.
When I use this toner, I don't apply more than three layers because my skin has trouble absorbing more than three layers of this toner without getting sticky.
The layering of toners is called the '7 skin method'. The goal with the 7 skin method is to maximize hydration. If you want to try the '7 skin method' you have to remember that you can't do it with acid toners because it can cause overexfoliation and don't use a toner with alcohol because it can dry out the skin. Try a hydrating toner instead to get the best results.

Effects
Once applied, the toner absorbs quickly. When I only use one layer, it has nice soothing and moisturizing effect. It leaves my skin soft and non-sticky - ready for the rest of my skincare routine. When I apply three layers, it leaves my skin so soft and hydrated. My skin feels soothed and it's non-sticky.

Price
This retails at $16.99 on www.unique4u.net/.

Pros
- Great ingredients list.
- Smells amazing.
- Absorbs quickly.
- Soothing, hydrating and moisturizing.

Cons
I can't really think of any cons.

Repurchase?
Even though I have nothing bad to say about this toner, I will not repurchase it. I prefer the Rose Water Toner from Mamonde.

Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash Off

Today, I want to talk about the best-selling wash off mask from Skinfood: Black Sugar Mask or as my husband calls it The Poop Mask - you'll see why at the 'texture' section.
I've been using this once a week since September and I have to say that I have mixed feelings about it - more about that later in this review.

Claims
"An exfoliating and hydrating mask wash off with black sugar granules. Black sugar is rich in vitamins and minerals and restores nutrients and moisture to skin. The mask leaves skin
moisturized, soft, and free of dead skin cells."

Ingredients
Sucrose, Peg-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Glycerin, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Lanolin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Stearalkonium Hectorite, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Sorbitan Laurate, Bht, Butylparaben, Fragrance, Caramel.

As you can see on the screenshot from www.cosdna.com, some of the ingredients are not good if you look at 'safety'.
What Skinfood says about the ingredients
"Sugar is a natural exfoliant. With its grainy texture, it’ s the perfect ingredient to heighten the scrubbing action that removes dead skin cells, which can clog pores and make your complexion look dull.
Black sugar would be considered a physical type of exfoliation. Also known as manual or mechanical exfoliation, it relies on a rubbing action (aka friction) and physical contact with a substrate to loosen and remove dead skin cells. On the other hand (pun intended), chemical exfoliants, including acids, retinol, and enzymes, can be harsher on skin, stripping it of its natural sebum or drying it out. Sensitive skin types may find chemical exfoliants irritating, and prefer a milder exfoliant, such as our Black Sugar Mask Wash Off, which is gentle enough for many skin types.

Sugar is also a natural humectant, which means that it draws moisture from the environment into the skin. So when you use our Black Sugar Mask Wash Off Scrub, you’ re hydrating your skin and helping it to retain moisture, two effective ways to treat signs of aging. You’ ll also be helping to save the environment! The primary exfoliating agent in many popular beauty brands involve microbeads, tiny plastic particles which act as the friction substrate. As of 2015, these microbeads, which have been popping up in concerning numbers in water sources, such as the Great Lakes, have been banned."

Packaging

The scrub comes in a plastic jar that, no matter how many times I've dropped it, doesn't break easily. The jar contains 100 g. When you open the container and remove the screw-on lit, there's a white piece of plactic protecting the mask. The packaging is unhygeinic. It doesn't come with a spatula but it is a good idea to use one to avoid spreading bacterias.

On the sides of the jar, there are claims, directions and ingredients list in both Korean and English.

Texture

The mask is brown and when you put it on your face, your face gets brown.
It has a grainy texture because of the sugar. The grainy texture can be a bit harsh on the skin but when mixed with water, it's not so bad.

Smell
This has a smell that you either love or hate. It's a strong and artificial lemon smell that I personally find overwhelming. It's noticeable while the mask is on.

How to use
"After cleansing, massage gently into damp skin, or mix with water/cosmetic water and apply. Avoid skin around the eyes and lips. After 10-15 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water."

How I use it
Because of the grainy texture, this is too harsh for my dry and slightly sensitive skin. I mix it with water in my hands (1:1) to make it more gentle. I carefully massage the mask onto my skin and leave it for about 15 minutes before washing it off.

Due to the fact that it is a bit harsh even when I mix it with water, I never use this when my skin is irritated or sunburned.

Effects
After washing the mask off, my skin feels a bit dry as it always does after exfoliation so I apply some extra moisture. It's no problem since my skin always absorb the rest of my skincare routine much better after I use this.
It always leaves my skin super soft and smooth. My skin looks radiant and glowing the day after using it.

Price
This retails at only $10 on www.theskinfood.us and it lasts a long time so it's cheap.

Pros
- The container doesn't break easily.
- Exfoliates well.
- Leaves skin baby soft, smooth and radiant.

Cons
- The packaging is unhygeinic.
- Doesn't come with a spatula.
- Smell is too strong.
- Harsh on my dry and slightly sensitive skin.

Repurchase?
Even though I love how soft this makes my skin, I will not repurchase it due to the strong smell and the fact that it's a bit harsh. However, I might purchase the strawberry edition.

Rating
If you only look at the results, this is a 5/5 but overall it's 3/5.

Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask Shea Butter

Yesterday, I exfoliated my skin so it was in need of some extra moisture. That's why I turned to this mask. It's from the budget friendly sheet mask range 'It's Real Squeeze Mask' from Innisfree. This range has been very hit or miss for me but I'm happy to say that this was one of the better masks.

The packaging
The packaging is just like all the other masks from this range - with pictures of the main ingredient on the front. On the back, there are directions and ingredients list in both Korean and English.

Noticeable ingredients
Shea Butter (moisturizing), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (soothing), Sodium Hyaluronate (hydrating) and Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (moisturizing, antioxidant).

Directions and full ingredients list

What Innisfree says about the ingredients and the mask (from www.innisfreeworld.com):

Claims
"This sheet mask with the incredible moisturizing capacity of shea butter delivers moisture deep into dry and parched skin".

The mask
When I opened the pouch and took out the sheet, it was easy to unfold.
The sheet material was thicker than average sheet material and it didn't break easily.

Essence
The essence was white and lotion-y. There was plenty of it but it didn't drip while I unfolded it. However, it did run down my neck while I was wearing the mask.
There was about a teaspoon amount of essence left in the pouch.

Smell
The essence had a lotion-y smell like sheet masks with shea butter often do. The smell wasn't too strong or overwhelming even though it was noticeable while the mask was on.

Fit
The fit was nice. Both the holes for the eyes and the hole for the mouth were big enough for my face. There were one slit on each cheek and one at each eye to adjust the mask for a better fit. Even though the sheet material was thick, it adhered well to my skin.

Time
According to the back of the pouch, you should leave the mask on for 10-20 minutes. I left it on for half an hour before it started to dry and let go at the edges.

While wearing the mask, it didn't irritate my skin or feel uncomfortable at all.

Results
When I took the sheet off, the remaining essence absorbed after about half an hour. It left a sticky residue that didn't go away.
The mask was very moisturizing, moisturizing enough for my dry skin - even after exfoliating my skin.

Price
This costs $1.20 (USD) on www.innisfreeworld.com so it's inexpensive.

Would I recommend?
If you don't mind the sticky residue, this is a great mask - especially if you have dry skin.

Pros
- Nice fit
- Pleasant smell
- Very moisturizing
- Inexpensive

Cons
- Sticky residue that didn't go away.

Repurchase?
I might repurchase this mask if I ever find it on sale but it's not a mask that I would go out of my way to buy again.

Laneige Fresh Brightening Cleansing Oil

I've been using this cleansing oil every day in my PM skincare routine since March. I bought this because it has been  Ophthalmologically tested which means that it does not irritate the sensitive skin around the eyes. Even though I prefer using an eye makeup remover to remove makeup from my eyes, I liked that this cleansing oil is so gentle that it is possible to use as an eyemakeup remover.

Target comsumers
"- Those who dislike the heavy texture of oil cleansers.
- Those who want smooth and clear skin upon cleansing.
- Those looking for a quick and easy way to remove makeup at night."

It's supposed to fit all skintypes.

Claims
"Light and refreshing apricot oil-based cleanser that's effective in removing old skin cells, giving a brightening effect on skin."

Ingredients
As you can see on the ingredients list, this cleansing oil doesn't contain mineral oils that clogs the pores.

What Laneige says about the ingredients

Packaging

This cleansing oil comes in a box that I no longer have.
The bottle contains 250 ml. It comes with a screw-cap (as shown on the picture on the top of this post) that prevents it from leaking during shipping. In the box there's an additional pump dispenser. The pump dispenser that you can see on these pictures is not the original one. The one that came with this Laneige cleansing oil broke after I had only used it for a week. I expected better quality from a product at this pricerange.
I hadn't thrown out my old cleansing oil (Skin Watchers Natural Deep Cleansing Oil) so I replaced the pump dispenser from Laneige with the pump dispenser from Skin Watchers since it fitted the hole.

The design is classic Laneige. On the front side of the bottle there's claims in English. On the backside, everything is in Korean.

Texture and color
This cleansing oil is clear. It's relatively thin - not as thin as the cleansing oil from Skin Watchers but it's not thick either.

Smell
It smells citrus-y. The smell is a little strong and some might find it overwhelming but it doesn't bother me.

How to use
STEP 1. Massage
Pump product three times onto dry hands and massage onto dry face for thirty seconds. Take extra care of the area around the nose and chin by massaging in small circular motions.

STEP 2. Emulsion
Wet your hands with lukewarm water and massage for thirty seconds more.

STEP 3. Rinse
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

How I use it
Please excuse the man-hands on the pictures - I borrowed my husbands hand.

From top to the bottom:
3W Clinic Collagen Foundation
Tonymoly Crystal Lovley Eyes
Tonymoly Lovely Eyebrow Pencil
Max Factor Lipfinity Lip Color

STEP 1:
I pump the product two times onto dry hands and massage on my dry face for about 30 seconds - or longer if I'm wearing a lot of makeup.
As you can see, the lip product didn't come off easily but with some extra massaging it went away.

STEP 2:
I wash my hands with handsoap to remove the cleansing oil completely.

STEP 3:
I wet my hands with lukewarm water and massage my face once again.
It's not so visible on the picture but this is the step where the cleansing oil starts to emulsify.

STEP 4:
I rinse my face with lukewarm water.

STEP 5:
I use a foam cleanser on my face to make sure that I have removed all the cleansing oil.

Effects
(My skintype: Dry and slightly sensitive)
I only use this on my face but I have tried using it to remove eyemakeup. It's effective and it doesn't sting that much in the eyes. The reason I prefer using an eyemakeup remover is that I don't like that oil cleansers gives me a blurry vision when I get it in the eyes - something I always seem to do.

My face feels slightly sticky after washing this cleansing oil away with water but once I've used a cleansing foam, my skin is non-sticky. My skin looks clean - it removes makeup, sunscreen and dirt effectively. It doesn't strip my skin as much as some other cleansing oils do and it doesn't irritate my skin at all.
It evens out my skintone nicely after washing it off and my skin does appear brighter but the effects are not long-lasting. However, I didn't expect that since this is a washoff product.

Price
This retails at $35 (USD) so it's not budget friendly.

Pros
- Nice smell.
- Removes makeup, sunscreen and dirt gently and effectively and leaves the skin clean.
- Doesn't strip the skin completely.

Cons
- The pump dispenser broke quickly.
- Strong smell (this is both a pro and con because I like the smell but it's also quite strong).
- No long term brightening effect.
- Not cheap.

Repurchase?
I will not repurchase this.
