Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask Aloe

The other night, I tried this mask for the first time. This mask is from the budget friendly sheet mask range 'It's Real Squeeze' from Innisfree. Most of the masks that I've tried from that range has been average or 'meh' so I didn't really have any expectations to this.

Claims
"This sheet mask with moisture from fresh squeezed aloe moisturizes and refreshes tired skin."

Directions
"1. After cleansing, use toner to refine skin texture. 2. Unfold and place the mask on the face, avoiding eye and lip area. 3. Leave on for 10-20 minutes. 4. Discard the mask and gently pat for further absorption."

Ingredients
Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Ethanol, Betaine, Grapefruit Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Extract (200mg), PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Potassium Hydroxide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tangerine Peel Extract, Orchid Extract, The green Tea Extract, Camellia Leaf Extract, Prickly Pear Fruit Extract, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance.

Noticeable ingredients
Grapefruit Extract: This is rich in antioxidants and vitamins.
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice: This is soothing and hydrating.
Sodium Hyaluronate:  This is hydrating and has amazing moisture-binding abilities.
Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Green Tea): This is moisturizing and rich in antioxidants.

The packaging
The packaging is just like with all the other masks from this sheet mask range - with pictures of the main ingredient on the front side and a wooden spoon containing the ingredient. On the back of the pouch, there are claims, directions and ingredients list in both Korean and English.

The mask

When I opened the pouch and took out the mask, it was easy to unfold.

The sheet material was a little thicker than average sheet material and it was stiff.

Essence
The essence was clear and watery. The sheet was dripping when I unfolded it and the essence ran down my neck while I was wearing the mask.
There was about a tablespoon amount of essence left in the pouch.

Smell
The essence had a strong smell - like a mixture of sweet perfume and artificial aloe. The smell was noticeable while the mask was on and it was a little overwhelming.

Fit
The fit was nice. The holes for the eyes and the hole for the mouth were big enough for my face. There were slits to adjust the mask for a better fit and the sheet material didn't break easily so it was no problem to do. The stiff material didn't adhere well to my skin.

Time
According to the back of the pouch, you should leave the mask on for 10-20 minutes. I left it on for half an hour before it started to dry.

Results
When I took off the sheet, the remaining essence absorbed after 20 minutes. It left a very sticky residue that didn't go away - it got less sticky but it didn't go away.
The mask had a cooling effect while on and after removing the mask, it still had a cooling effect until the essence was aborbed. My skin felt refreshed, soothed and hydrated.

Price
This costs $1.20 (USD) on innisfreeworld.com so it's a budget friendly mask.

Pros
- Nice fit.
- Pleasant cooling effect.
- Does as it claims to do.
- Affordable.

Cons
- Strong smell.
- Bad adherence.
- Very sticky residue.

Would I recommend?
Sure. Even though it left me with a sticky residue and I weren't a fan of the smell and adherence, it might work for you.
